Win $2.5M scratch off. What happens?

My step son has been dating a bimbo for 2 years. 18 months ago her husband found out he was cheating and kicked her out and she moved in with my step son.  He's been trying to get a divorce for over a year and he won't sign the paper (he refused again last Thursday). Well, Friday she buys a $20 scratch off and wins $2.5M. First thing she did was to quit her job at Hooters. Will she have to share that with soon to be ex hubby? I told her to shut her mouth and bolt for her lawyers office first thing tomorrow morning. Any insight appreciated
 Please help.
